Grooming Policies

Haircuts & Mini Groom - Drop off/Pick Up

Dogs must be collared and leashed at all times, both in the parking lot and indoors. No Exceptions.

For pick up, our groomers will give you a call when your dog is ready. If you plan on coming before your dog is finished, please wait in your car until our groomers have given you a call to come in. This is for the safety of your dog and our staff, which we take very seriously.

We HIGHLY encourage all pet owners to pick up/drop off their dog. This is to ensure you are satisfied with our services and if you have any concerns, we can address them onsite. Our staff will also inform you of our process and answer any questions you might have.

Please be respectful of our neighboring businesses and shoppers, and be sure to pick up and dispose of any dog poop immediately. No Exceptions. We will happily dispose of any poop for you and have bags to clean it up with; just come inside or call, and we will be happy to help.

Bathing Appointments - Drop Off/Pick Up

We HIGHLY encourage all pet owners to pick up/drop off their dog. This is to ensure you are satisfied with our services and if you have any concerns, we can address them onsite. Our staff will also inform you of our process and answer any questions you might have.

If you are waiting for your dog at our facility, you are required to wait at the front of the store unless told otherwise by our staff. This is to ensure the safety of your dog and our staff members.

Vaccinations

Dogs are required to be up to date on their Rabies, Bordetella and Distemper/Parvo vaccines. Please email your vet records to us prior to your appointment. You can do so by clicking HERE.

For the safety and comfort of your pets, we require a 24 hour wait period after your pet receives vaccinations.

By booking your appointment, you agree that you will provide your dog’s proof of vaccinations and that they are up to date on Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, and Bordetella. Failure to provide proof that results in a cancellation within 24 hours of your appointment, will result in a fee.

Cancellations/Reschedules

We require at least a 24-hour notice to reschedule or cancel a professional appointment. Otherwise, a cancellation fee will be charged.

If you are more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled appointment, we reserve the right to add a late fee or reschedule your appointment. Please call our front desk to determine if you are still able to make it in.

We reserve the right to charge the FULL service fee due to a "no-show".

Pick up is requested within 45min of service completion. If a longer care time is needed, customers will be charged a Kenneling Fee (inquire for more information).

Credits are valid for 2 weeks and must be applied to the same service.

Service Information

Appointment durations and pricing are an estimate and may vary based on your dog’s breed, temperament, coat length, density, mats, size of dog, and more.

If you don’t see an available time, feel free to give us a call to double check. A credit card will be required to book a grooming appointment. This card will not be charged unless our cancellation/reschedule policy is broken. Your card is stored through a secure server and our staff does not have access to the full information. This card CAN’T be accessed at checkout to pay for the appointment.

Some dogs are more sensitive to certain parts of the grooming process, such as drying or nail clipping. In that case, we go at a pace your pet is comfortable with, which can change the duration of your appointment.

If your dog is matted, removing those mats is rather time consuming as we have to go slower to remove them carefully. If your pet must be shaved, we will always try to save as much hair as possible by working down until we find a length that fits under the mats. Severe cases will be shaved down short to start over on a clean slate. This is to give the dog release from the tight matting and give the skin its much-needed airflow. After that, we can discuss a good maintenance program so it does not happen again.

For styling, we recommend bringing in a photo for reference. However, please keep in mind that if it is a photo on the internet, we may not be able to match it exactly. Coat type, condition, and behavior are all factors when figuring out what style will work for you and your dog. Speaking with our groomers will help you achieve the style you want with the coat your dog has. Please keep in mind that breed specific hairstyles may take longer than others. We are very detail oriented and take our time to make sure you are getting the best quality. Coats being left 1/2 or longer will have additional charges.

Puppies of any age will vary in how long it may take. We go at a pace your puppy is comfortable with. This allows us to show your puppy that grooming is a positive experience that they will look forward to for the rest of their lives. We always recommend a mini groom for any puppy that is new to the grooming experience. This way we can get them used to the process before starting a full-body haircut routine.

We are committed to making sure our customers are happy with the grooms that are provided. In the rare event we miss a detail, we have a 72 hour tidy up policy - free of charge.

Behavior

Our mission is to provide the best experience for your dog. We provide a low stress environment. If your dog is showing signs of aggression or stress, we might have to stop the process and you will be charged the full fee.

Flea & Tick

Our facility does not handle fleas & ticks. If we notice fleas or ticks on your dog, we will immediately stop the process and you will be required to pick up you dog. You will be charged for the work that was completed and charged a cleaning fee.
